Free EOD and historical NSE data downloader. Use this application to download EQ, DER, RDM, WDM, CBM bhavcopies and individual stocks data. Using this application you can download EOD data as well as data for user defined historical periods. You can download and group the downloads based on year, month and alpha numeric values. The NSE data downloader from www.bhavyait.co.in gives user flexibility to use three different modes. In default mode historical bhavcopies are downloaded and grouped based on year and month. Also NSE stock list is updated and data for all stocks is downloaded and grouped based on alpha numeric names. On subsequent downloads the security data is appended to already existing datas. In archives download mode application gives user complete flexibility to decide what to download and between which intervals. SUB-PRIME WOES

What it is?

It is one of the sections of the US mortgage market where high interest home loans were disbursed to people who do not qualify for those loans as they were not credit worthy or were below prime i.e sub-prime.

Lenders gave money on high interest rates to get higher income from lended money. Risk involved was very high due to high probability of repayment defaults.
These loans were further bundled together and converted into securities to be sold to other investors.

Many investors including fund houses bought these high-risk,high-return securities. To buy these securities investors took loans at low interest rates from banks and other financial institutions from various markets around the world.

The ripple effect

US interest rates up -> sub-prime mortgage market defaulting on loans -> hedge funds selling off their assessts in emerging markets like india to repay loans -> selling, selling & more selling leading to market plunge across the globe.
